Chicken Alfredo Casserole Recipe
6 ounces fettuccine or medium noodles, cooked and drained
1 package (10-ounce size) frozen broccoli cuts
3 tablespoons butter or margarine
3 tablespoons flour
1/2 teaspoon dried basil
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
2 1/4 cups milk
2 1/4 cups chopped cooked chicken
1/2 cup parmesan cheese, for sauce
1/4 cup parmesan cheese, for top
Directions for Chicken Alfredo Casserole
Turn oven on to 325 Degrees
Cook the pasta following the directions on the package: Drain
For the Sauce:
In a pan, melt the butter and stir in the flour, basil, salt, pepper, and milk.
Cook until thick. Add the chicken, 1/2 cup of parmesan cheese, broccoli, and pasta
Transfer the chicken mixture into a casserole dish.
Bake for 20 minutes
I made this chicken alfredo casserole recipe for my brother-in-laws birthday. Huge success! I did remove the broccoli for me 2 teens. Will definitely use this chicken alfredo casserole recipe again.
