Corned Beef and Cabbage Casserole
I don't normally make casseroles but this corned beef and cabbage casserole recipe one sounded interesting. It took a lot longer than 30 minutes to cook--about 90 minutes in all. Delicious!
4 cups chopped cabbage
1 cup sliced celery
1 cup chopped onions
1/2 cup butter
8 oz. noodles, cooked and drained
1 (12 oz.) can corned beef, crumbled
1 cup shredded Swiss cheese
1/2 cup milk
1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
1/2 cup caraway seeds
1/8 teaspoon pepper
Turn Oven on to 350 Degrees
Saute the cabbage, onion, and celery in the half cup of butter. Add the remaining ingredients and mix well. Pour into a two quart casserole and bake for 45 to 50 minutes.
