Italian Sausage Casserole Recipe

Ingredients
1 red pepper, julienned
1 green pepper, julienned
1 1/2 lbs Italian sausage, browned and cut into 2 inch pieces
2 onions, sliced
2 medium potatoes, diced in 1 inch pieces
2 tablespoons dried basil
salt and pepper
1 (28 ounce) can diced tomatoes, diced with juice
Directions for Italian Sausage Casserole Recipe
- Turn oven on to 350 degrees
- In a large bowl, mix together all the ingredients
- Transfer the sausage mixture into a casserole dish
- Bake the casserole for 2 hours
This was delicious! For this italian sausage casserole recipe, I added a variety of vegetables and a few extra seasonings, but that was just preference.
